Thanks, Emil. You're right about the palliative effects of a good job. I've already confirmed that moving is as stressful as death of a spouse & divorce -- all 3 10 or 50 points on the stress scale. We will drive carefully & try to relieve some of the stress of it by making a vacation of it. Ciao, Mike

After having lived in Europe for 31 years, 10 in Milan, Italy & 21 in Heppenheim, Germany, I returned to the U.S at the end of 2004. I have a M.S. in mathematics from the university of Illinois. Professionally I've been a systems software developer for 42 years. Having difficulty finding a job -- from my point of view, because most of my experience has been on IBM mainframes, making me somewhat of a dinosaur -- & from the market's point of view because I'm  euphemistically "overqualified," I would like to go to an online university to get a degree in accounting, most likely aqn MBA, but since my total income is the pittance I receive as SSDI, "Yes, Virginia, I'm disabled," I'm not able to afford the rather hefty tuition from most of these places & I'm loathe to encumber myself with a student loan, because there being no guarantees, I might not find a job post-degree, but I'd still have to repay the loan from the aforementioned pittance which barely keeps pace with inflation. So, I'd like to find a scholarship, a fellowship or some kind of grant to allow me to attend an online university. In the meantime, I've found a great job developing mainframe system software for Compuware in Cambridge, MA, starting 7/17/06. I'll be leaving here in FL to drive there on 7/9/06. I'll be back to update my info once I'm settled.

Thanks for the replies, Wizard. i hadn't realized that the process of sending me the notification of a message & recognizing it as spam was asynchronous. I already get enough spam in my Yahoo InBox -- despite my flagging several emails as spam; it appears that Yahoo's spam recognizer is less than trustworthy, since some of the emails I flag as spam are reincarnated sometime later -- that I don't need any more. Is your spam recognition filter error-proof? I.e. is it certain that emails that Aidpage recognizes as spam really are spam? If so, you could probably package it up as a product :-), or could I enjoy the benefits of its superior spam-recognition features by the simple expedient of using my Aidpage email address for all email?

Thanks for the reply, Wizard. Am I to understand that the emails of which I received notice were spam? If so & the accounts were removed, why was I sent a notification? I can see this reply of yours in the box labeled "Messages, pictures, web links... (1)." under the 4 circular buttons. Is that where I'll always see non-spam messages? But what of the other messages? I received an email saying I've received a new private message, so I followed the link to my Home Page. My Home Page indicates that I've received 2 private messages, but I have no idea how to read them. I tried clicking on the "my messages" link in the Hello box on the upper left-hand corner of my home page, but all it does is to jump down the Home Page down so that the "My Private Messages: (2)" box is at the top of the browser window. I may be dense but the only 2 other instances of message I find are in "Post your message, pictures, web links..." & 2 lines lower, "Post message, comment..."  So, how can I read them?
